Garage Boat Lift
Fellow tinkerer John Munno sent me these photos of his adaptation of my garage lift. He created a garage boat lift. Well done John!
If you plan on doing something similar for your garage, be sure to consult a structural engineer and properly calculate loads to ensure safety.
What are those ‘spools’ that you have under the ceiling to cover the holes ?
I think he used 2 plumbing fixtures as dead weights to keep tension on the lines. Much quicker than melting some lead and coating with plasti-dip like I did.
At this time it seems like WordPress is the top blogging platform available right now.
