First in a series about finishing of my basement. In this video I cover the demolition and construction for installing a new window in my basement before I begin finishing it. I also talk about the tools I used and share my experiences. Because I am a do it yourselfer and not a professional, this project took a long time to complete, but I learned a great deal and hopefully others will find value here for their own basement finishing project.

Installation of the WoodRack brand lumber storage shelves onto my basement concrete walls.

Honda HS720AS Snowblower won’t start due to clogged carburetor. This is becoming more common due to ethanol in gasoline.
Be sure to drain your carb of fuel before storing your snowblower this summer. Also, it is a good idea to add some sta-bil fuel additive, which will somewhat counteract the the negative effects of the ethanol.
