Sorry, nope.
I just accept it... it's not so bad.
At least the preds are stainless.
Being stainless you could try buffing out the bluing, but it would probably come back and I doubt buffing would reduce it much anyway.
Some folks tape the pipes to hide/protect the bluing, but I think that looks worse.
I like my bike the way it is... the only thing I may eventually change is replace the turn signals with something more compact and made with real chrome instead of plastic chrome.

One other question. Know of any way to get the blue out of the exhaust pipes?

This Nebraska winter can't last forever. I think I'll have to see about getting some new pipes this summer. :)

<a href="#comment-3082" rel="nofollow">@Dewayne </a>
Thanks Dewayne. Yup, I had the dealer put "british customs predator exhaust" on the bike when I bought it. I still have the originals in a box if I ever need them. I think the "preds" are the icing on the cake.

I have the 2005 with the clip-on's and love it. I do like the pipes on this bike, is this an upgrade?

Great choice going with the '07. I have the same bike and love it. I have a friend with an '09 Thruxton and a Sport Classic. I still would take my '07 in a heartbeat.
